Sit Means Sit Raleigh
We're looking forward to having your dog train with us!
We'll text you your exact training dates, drop-off and pickup/lesson times. Drop-off is between 8–10am unless otherwise noted.
Our staff will meet you in the front lobby to go over any final details or instructions, then get your dog settled into their kennel for the day. Training begins shortly after drop-off and continues in intervals until around 4 PM.
Our lobby is small. If another dog is in the lobby, we may ask you to pause outside the door for a moment while we move that dog to their kennel. Some dogs at our facility may be reactive to other dogs, so please give them plenty of space.
There are usually several drop-offs in the morning, so feel free to ask questions ahead of time — we'll still do our best to help on the day!
Throughout the day your dog will have multiple training sessions of about 15–20 minutes each, tailored to their learning pace and needs, with plenty of breaks and potty breaks so they stay comfortable and happy.
At pickup, your trainer will show you what your dog learned that day and teach you how to reinforce it at home. Plan on about an hour for each lesson.
The first session focuses on the fundamentals of our Attention Based Training System — the foundation for clear communication between you and your dog. Later sessions focus on your specific goals and your dog's personality.
After your last lesson, your trainer will go over the Group Class portion of your training and answer any questions.
Bordetella, Distemper/Parvo, Lepto and Rabies. Canine Influenza is recommended but not required. Please email records to [email protected].
